What size jobs does Esquire Appraisals handle?
The size of an appraisal may vary from one item to major collections of private collectors and large institutions. Appraisals include ordinary household contents to fine private collections.
How long does it take to do an appraisal?
Appraisals are done in a very timely manner and are generally completed within two weeks of the date of the appraisal. They are fully computerized. Clients receive an original and two copies of the finished appraisal.
Fee format
Fees are charged on an hourly basis and are not based on a percentage of the appraisal. Fees are charged on the following basis, $1,500 for one half day, $3,000 for a full day. In addition $500 per hour is charged if extensive research on Paintings or Sculpture is needed.
Flexible fee structure for photos or office visits. For appraisals done from photos – $300. Appraisals done in office – $500.
